Keller Rohrback Wins Law360 2022 Practice Groups of the Year for Product Liability and Cybersecurity and Privacy

This was the second year in a row for which Keller Rohrback’s product liability team has been honored with this prestigious recognition. The achievements over the past year for which Keller Rohrback received consideration in this category were as follows: final approval of a $277 million settlement with Nissan in Stringer v. Nissan of North America Inc., regarding faulty continuously variable transmissions, contribution to a jury verdict and abatement order in In re National Prescription Opiate Litigation Track Three Cases, preliminary approval of a settlement in Lewis v. Rodan & Fields LLC, filing for preliminary settlement in In re Hyundai and Kia Engine Litig. II, and achieving class certification in In re JUUL Labs, Inc. Marketing, Sales Practices, & Products Liability Litigation.

In the category of Cybersecurity and Privacy, the Keller Rohrback consumer and data privacy team was recognized for its work on the following matters: preliminary approval of a $350 million settlement in In re T-Mobile Customer Data Security Breach Litigation, a settlement in principle reached in In re Facebook, Inc. Consumer Privacy User Profile Litigation, a successful defense of a motion to dismiss in In re Blackbaud, Inc. Consumer Data Breach Litigation, and the appointment Keller Rohrback attorneys Dean Kawamoto, Derek Loeser and Gretchen Freeman Cappio as Interim Co-Lead Counsel in Hogan v. Amazon.com, Inc.
