Excessive Fees Investigation by Keller Rohrback Regarding the UC Retirement Savings Program
Keller Rohrback is investigating the following plans that are offered to University of California employees:
- University of California Defined Contribution Plan;
- University of California Tax-Deferred 403(b) Plan;
- University of California 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan
These are known collectively as the “UC Retirement Savings Program”. Our investigation focuses on the excessive fees associated with the investments offered to the employees of the University of California who have participated or participate in these UC-sponsored retirement plans. This investigation does NOT include the traditional pension plan—the UCRP.
The potentially excessive fees which the firm is investigating are a result of high-cost retail investment funds that were offered to employees as investment options in the UC Retirement Savings Program. The investigation focuses on whether Plan fiduciaries breached their fiduciary duties by, among other things, maintaining expensive retail funds in the Plans when cheaper, comparable investment options were available.
If you or someone you know is an employee at one of the University of California educational institutions listed below and invests in a plan that is part of the UC Retirement Savings Program, the University of California 403(b), 457(b) or Defined Contribution Plan, please contact Keller Rohrback attorneys Karin Swope or Jeff Lewis at 800.776.6044 or via .
