Keller Rohrback L.L.P. Investigates Express Scripts Overcharges for Prescription Drugs
Keller Rohrback L.L.P. is investigating recent reports that Express Scripts, Inc. overcharged millions of prescription drug customers in violation of ERISA and other laws.
Express Scripts is a “pharmacy benefit manager” for many insurance companies including Anthem Insurance. Express Scripts allegedly overcharged Anthem for prescription drugs from 2009 to present. These overcharges also caused injury to people who have insurance through Anthem, who were forced to pay excessive co-pays for the medicine they received. This alleged misconduct may well extend to other insurance companies that hired Express Scripts to serve as pharmacy benefits manager.
Keller Rohrback’s investigation team is interested in talking to people who had employer-provided Anthem medical insurance at any time from 2009 to present. People in that category probably had pharmacy benefits provided through Express Scripts, and may have suffered losses caused by Express Scripts’ overcharges.
We are also interested in talking to people who had medical insurance through insurance companies other than Anthem, and who had their pharmacy benefits provided through Express Scripts.
