Polyurethane Foam

This claim, filed under Section 1 of the Sherman Act, 15 U.S.C. §  1 and proceeding in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, concerns allegations of a conspiracy to raise prices for polyurethane foam, a product with many uses, including carpet underlay.  As a result of this activity, the plaintiffs paid artificially higher prices for polyurethane foam than absent the conspiracy, sums they seek to recover through this lawsuit.

In late 2011 the court denied in large part multiple motions to dismiss filed by various defendants.
