Polychromatic Lenses

This claim, filed under Section 1 of the Sherman Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1 and proceeding in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, concerns allegations of anticompetitive conduct by Transitions Optical, Inc., Essilor of America, Inc., and Essilor Laboratories of America, Inc. that allowed Transitions to monopolize the market for polychromatic lens glasses. As a result of this activity, the plaintiffs paid artificially higher prices for such adjustable lens glasses than absent the conduct, sums they seek to recover through this lawsuit.
